Alexandra Fuhrmann is a senior relationship manager for CIBC Private Wealth in New York with over 30 years of industry experience. In this role, she serves as a trusted advisor, delivering personalized investment and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations that integrate their financial, estate, tax and philanthropic objectives.
Alexandra is also a member of CIBC Private Wealth’s Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Alexandra served as a portfolio manager with Bessemer Trust, where she co-managed more than 300 client portfolios with an aggregate value of approximately $500 million. Alexandra joined Bessemer through its acquisition of Brundage, Story and Rose, where she was responsible for managing equity and balanced portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and their families.
Previously, Alexandra was employed at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. She began her career analyzing local market trends for Salus Management, a firm brokering joint ventures in Ukraine.
Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude with a concentration in statistics from Harvard University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of CFA Society New York and the CFA Institute.
