Private Banking Advisor
Cynthia Temple is a private banking advisor in CIBC Private Wealth’s New York office, with more than 30 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with client families to develop customized strategies designed to preserve, grow and transfer wealth effectively. Cynthia partners with a team of in-house specialists to develop thoughtful solutions in multiple disciplines, including lending, investment management, trust and estate planning, family office services and philanthropy. Additionally, she advises hedge fund, private equity and real estate investors, as she is sensitive to the nuances that underlie each source of wealth. Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from Franklin & Marshall College, where she also earned The Wall Street Journal award for finance. She was a member of the Senior Honorary Society and the Consortium of Pennsylvania Colleges Student Leadership. She attended New York University’s Stern School of Business. Throughout her career, Cynthia has been involved in her community as a member of the board of directors and as a volunteer coordinator for The Paige Whitney Babies Center in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She also sat on the board of directors for the Kaatsbaan International Dance Center in Tivoli, New York; served as co-chair for The Pingry School Annual Fundraiser in Short Hills, New Jersey; sat on the fundraising committee for The Association to Benefit Children in New York, New York; and served on The Junior League of NYC.
