Portfolio Manager & Trader
Dan Skolochenko is a fixed income portfolio manager and trader in the CIBC Private Wealth San Francisco office, with more than 20 years of industry experience.
Dan oversees taxable, national tax-exempt, and state-specific tax-exempt bond portfolios with objectives ranging from cash management/capital preservation to income-seeking intermediate duration accounts. Dan performs trading and analysis on all accounts under his supervision, and regularly provides commentary on investment strategy and market conditions to relationship managers.
Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Dan was a municipal bond trader at The Boston Company, a high-net-worth asset management firm. Previously, he worked at MFS Investment Management, a Boston-based mutual fund company.
Dan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in financial economics and earned a Master of Science in finance from Boston College.
