Head of AssetMark Distribution
Ed is Head of AssetMark Distribution and a business development officer at CIBC Private Wealth with 30 years of industry experience. In this role, he oversees the growth of the AssetMark channel for CIBC and is responsible for setting strategies and practices that broaden relationships with individuals, families, foundations and endowments.
Prior to joining the firm, Ed served as an executive vice president of Wealth Management Sales at Orion Portfolio Services, where he was responsible for overseeing sales and distribution. He also served as chair of the growth committee. Previously, he served as a chief sales officer at Brinker Capital, where he was responsible for leading the overall direction of sales, national accounts and internal sales teams in their efforts to build a collaborative partnership with financial advisors. He was also a member of the operating and investment committees.
Ed earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University. Ed holds the CERTIFIIED PRIVATE WEALTH ADVISOR® certification as well as an ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY® and BEHAVIORAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR™ designations.
