Emily Kaiser co-manages environmental, social and governance (ESG) stewardship and engagement at CIBC Private Wealth. Based in Washington, D.C., Emily has 15 years of experience working on ESG and corporate responsibility matters, and five years of industry experience. She supports the investment team with the development of the firm’s ESG investment process and its engagement with portfolio companies.
Prior to joining CIBC Private Wealth in 2022, Emily was a director of the audit and risk research consulting practices at Gartner. Previously, she served in ESG analyst roles with Calvert Investments and the Rock Creek Group. Emily’s earlier experience includes roles with international nonprofit organizations and US federal agencies focusing on international labor and development issues.
Emily earned a Juris Doctor degree from American University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Tufts University.
