Senior Wealth Strategist
Judith A. Saxe is a senior wealth strategist in the Boston office of CIBC Private Wealth. She provides customized estate planning services to clients, including income and estate tax, philanthropic, multi-generational, financial, asset protection, business succession, insurance, and fiduciary planning. She works collaboratively with relationship managers, clients, and their advisors to develop and implement integrated wealth plans and educate clients and their families about planning options and strategies.
Judith has over 30 years of industry experience counseling high net worth individuals, corporate executives, owners of closely held businesses and multinationals on sophisticated estate planning designs and strategies. She joined the company in 2003 from Ernst & Young LLP, where she was the New England-area director of estate and business succession planning. Previously, Judith practiced law with a specialty in estate planning at major firms in New York City.
Judith is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and she served on the board of directors of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils (NAEPC), following an 11-year tenure on the executive committee and board of directors of The Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC), where she served as president from 2013-2014. She is a frequent presenter on estate planning topics, including for NAEPC, BEPC, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is a contributor to several MCLE treatises. Judith has also written articles for or been quoted in national and local publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Private Wealth magazine and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Judith earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law. In addition to these degrees, in 2008 she was awarded the Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation by NAEPC in recognition of both her experience in and her interdisciplinary approach to estate planning, and in 2018, she obtained the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation through the American College of Financial Services.
In her spare time, Judith enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, travel and reading.
