Senior Client Service Manager
LaVern Peña is a senior client service manager for CIBC Private Wealth in Austin, with more than 25 years of industry experience. In this role, she is responsible for administering individual retirement accounts, personal trusts and investment management accounts for high net worth individuals, families and foundations.
Prior to joining the firm in 2004, LaVern was an assistant vice president at Wells Fargo and held positions as a trust officer and new accounts trust team manager. She began her career in the financial management industry in 1996, when she joined the team at Frost Financial Management.
She supports local enterprise and non-profit organizations, formerly serving as a committee chairperson at Santa Cruz Catholic School and as a board member for Teatro Humanidad. Remaining actively involved in various aspects within her local community, is an important focus to her.
LaVern earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in business administration and management, Cum Laude, from St. Edward’s University. In 2015, LaVern was honored with a CIBC Achiever’s Award.
