Senior Relationship Manager
Patrick O’Day is a senior relationship manager in CIBC Private Wealth’s Newport Beach office, with more than 25 years of industry experience. In this role, he manages client relationships and implements strategies designed to help clients achieve their financial, estate planning and philanthropic goals. Prior to joining CIBC, Patrick was a vice president and portfolio manager at City National Rochdale, where he was responsible for developing and managing client portfolios and analyzing securities across multiple market sectors. Additionally, Patrick served as a member of City National’s investment committee for the core equity and multi-asset portfolio strategies and also led due diligence efforts on the alternative investment platform. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and management information systems from Loyola College of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Patrick holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certifications and is a member of the CFA Society of Orange County, the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the CFA Institute.
