Relationship Manager
Stephen Smith is a relationship manager for CIBC Private Wealth in Boston, with over 10 years of industry experience. In this role, he is responsible for providing comprehensive portfolio and wealth management services for high net worth individuals and families. Stephen’s role includes working with senior relationship managers to develop and implement asset allocation and investment strategies for clients based on their unique parameters for risk, return, liquidity and other factors. He acts as an ongoing resource for clients, presenting periodic reviews as well as communicating the latest investment and economic updates. Prior to joining CIBC in 2021, Stephen spent over seven years at Wilmington Trust as an investment advisor. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2017, and is an active member of the CFA Society of Boston. He also completed the Chartered Market Technician Program in 2021.
