Jay Pearlstein, CFA
Jay Pearlstein is a senior portfolio and client relationship manager in CIBC Private Wealth Management’s Boston office, where he is responsible for providing in-depth analytical equity research on a number of industries, including retail and consumer products. Jay is also co-manager of CIBC’s Mid-Cap Growth Equity Portfolio.
Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Jay was vice president of the equity research department and a member of the investment policy committee at Loomis, Sayles & Co. Previously, he was a senior auditor for Coopers & Lybrand. Jay's more than 35 years of industry experience give him insight into the compilation of financial data and help him in his analysis of mid-size companies.
Jay currently serves on the board of directors of Temple Israel of Natick and is the chair of the audit committee for the board of trustees of the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts with high honors in accounting from Michigan State University and received the Board of Trustees' Award for graduating first in his class. Jay also earned a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Certified Public Accountant designations. In 2015, he was honored with a CIBC MVP Achievers Award.
