Julie F. Barron

Regional Managing Director

Julie Barron is a regional managing director in CIBC Private Wealth Management’s Boston office, with over 30 years of banking and wealth management experience.  In this role, she will lead the delivery of wealth solutions, including private banking, to the East Coast Regional markets.

Prior to joining the firm, Julie was a regional managing director and team leader at Wilmington Trust, where she was responsible for meeting the financial needs of high net worth individuals, families and closely-held business owners. While there, she was a three-time recipient of the President’s Council Award.

She previously served as a business development officer at Fiduciary Trust, a private banker at JP Morgan Private Bank and a senior vice president in Brown Brothers Harriman’s Banking and M&A Advisory Group. Earlier in her career she spent 17 years at RBS Citizens Bank where she served as the division executive and group head of private banking, director of strategy and support for the corporate bank, and team leader in the middle market corporate banking division.

Julie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Boston College.

Currently, Julie is on the Board of Advisors of the Steppingstone Foundation, which develops and delivers educational programs to underserved student communities; is on the Board of Mentors of Community Servings, which provides food and nutrition services for families living with critical and chronic illnesses; and on the Board of Directors of Housing Families, which seeks to provide housing for homeless families in Massachusetts.
