Peter L. Kugeler

Managing Director

Peter Kugeler is a senior private banker for CIBC Private Wealth, as part of CIBC Bank USA, with more than 15 years of industry experience. In this role, Peter works closely with relationship managers and their clients to advise on CIBC’s banking and lending capabilities, focusing primarily on the strategic use of debt and deposits.​

Prior to joining the firm, Peter was a member of Morgan Stanley’s high net worth lending advisory team, where he was responsible for advising on complex lending strategies in the New England and Midwest regions. Previously, Peter was a private banker for Morgan Stanley, where he worked closely with financial advisors to better understand and meet client lending needs. He began his career as a banker with Wells Fargo, where he worked with small business owners to help manage their personal and business banking relationships.​

Peter received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Boston College.​

He is a member of the board of directors for Winchester Youth Lacrosse.
