Ryan G. DeVries

Managing Director

Ryan is a business development officer at CIBC Private Wealth with over 15 years of industry experience. In this role, he serves as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and their families. Ryan spends time listening to their stories and learning about their goals while complementing them with a team that delivers CIBC’s expertise and comprehensive solutions.  Before his current role, Ryan was the market manager of Private Banking at CIBC Private Wealth.

Prior to joining the firm, Ryan served as a senior private banker at The Northern Trust Company, where he was responsible for establishing and maintaining a portfolio of personal and commercial loans provided to high-net-worth individuals and their businesses. Previously, he served as a vice president and capital advisor in the wealth management group at J.P. Morgan.  

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Calvin University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University, George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology.
