Sidney F. Queler

Chief Growth Officer

Sid Queler is the chief growth officer, with more than 30 years of industry experience. In this role, he leads the firm’s business development team, setting strategies and practices that broaden relationships with individuals, families, foundations and endowments. Sid also serves as a member of the CIBC Private Wealth Operating Committee and as a member of the advisory team for the firm's Boston office. In addition to leading local business development initiatives, he remains actively involved with client relationships. Sid also shares economic and financial insights in his biweekly column, The Affluent Mind. 

Prior to joining the firm in 2004, he served as a regional business consultant for Curian Capital, working as the national director of business development for the Capital Management Group at Avatar Associates, and as the national sales and marketing manager at BTS Asset Management. Sid serves as vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Beth Israel Lahey Medical Center, where he also serves as a member of the Trustee Nominating Committee, the Marketing Committee and the Foundation Board.

He is currently a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Partners Committee and the Boston Estate Planning Council, as well as a past chairman of the BIDMC Board of Overseers.

He earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in business administration from Elmira College.
