Thomas O. Matia III

Business Development Coordinator

Thomas Matia is a business development coordinator in CIBC Private Wealth’s Tampa office. In this role, he works closely with senior relationship managers to provide comprehensive client service, as well as thorough reporting on client accounts. He also helps prepare marketing materials, oversees administrative office tasks and assists with special projects. 

Previously, Thomas was a development and administrative associate for Osa Conservation, an international nonprofit organization. He also served as assistant science coordinator at Los Amigos Biological Station in Peru and as a trail guide and educator at the Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment in Alaska. 

Thomas received a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies from Eckerd College. He is also involved with the Tampa Museum of Art.
