Aashish Rao is a technology analyst for CIBC Private Wealth in Chicago with over 15 years of industry experience. In this role, he is responsible for covering the technology sector for the firm’s Disciplined Equity Strategy.

Prior to joining the firm, Aashish was a technology analyst at Artisan Partners, where he covered semiconductor and software stocks for the Growth Team across multiple US and global investment strategies. Previously, he worked as a sell-side analyst at Bank of America and Credit Suisse and as product strategy and chip design engineer at Intel.

Aashish earned a Master of Business Administration from Duke University, a Master of Science from University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India.
