Senior Client Analyst
Connor McGarvey is a senior client analyst for CIBC Private Wealth. In this role, he works closely with senior client relationship managers to provide analytical and investment performance reporting, as well as client portfolio, estate planning and allocation analysis. He works closely with our Chicago-based advisors to support clients in Dallas, Chicago, and various additional locations throughout the U.S. Prior to joining the firm, Connor held internships at the Office of the Dallas County District Attorney in the Specialized Crime division. Previously, he served as an extern at the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas where he prepared dockets and assisted in drafting judicial opinions. Connor earned a Juris Doctorate, along with a Master of Science degree in finance, from Louisiana State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Delaware. He also studied law in France at the Université Jean Moulin, Lyon III. Connor was admitted as student member to the Wex Malone Inn of Court in Baton Rouge, competed as a D1 Swimmer at the University of Delaware, and completed mission work in Braila, Romania.
