Ed Hagerty is a relationship manager for CIBC Private Wealth with more than 30 years of industry experience assisting high net worth families and their related interests. Prior to joining Geneva Advisors, which became part of CIBC in 2017, Ed was the managing director of Petro Capital. He was chief operating officer of a mezzanine debt fund specializing in financing small exploration, production and oil field service companies. Ed began his career as an institutional sales representative for Merrill Lynch, then spent 16 years at Jefferies & Company as senior vice president in Chicago and as southwest region manager. Ed graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance.
