With over 25 years in the financial industry, Frances serves as director, wealth trading for CIBC Private Wealth. As a senior equity trader, Frances works closely with the investment team and relationship managers to source and execute trades in a timely, proficient manner. Additionally, Frances provides daily market updates along with changing landscapes for holdings within the firm’s portfolio strategies.
Frances also has an active role in volunteering for the firm’s Inclusion initiatives, taking on projects outside of her day-to-day trading role seeking help create a culture of belonging within the firm. She serves as a Steering Committee member for CIBC-US Black Employee Network and has previously been involved in CIBC’s Women’s Circle, where she focused on educating members and clients about market trends and trading topics.
Previously, she worked at Invesco in various roles, including equity trader lead for separately managed accounts (SMA) and sat on the SMA Business Acceptance Committee to approve new business. As a trading assistant and portfolio administrator, Frances provided front and middle office support and acted as liaison for global traders and U.S. brokers.
Prior to joining Invesco, she held positions at Regions Bank, including research coordinator and various roles in trust investments and marketing. Frances earned a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership from Point University in Atlanta, Georgia.
