Josh Garcia is a senior investment analyst in CIBC Private Wealth’s Boston office with over 10 years of industry experience. In this role, he serves on the Multi-Manager Investment Team as a private equity and venture capital analyst.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh was a director, investments at Allocate, where he helped lead venture and growth investing at an early-stage startup, bridging investing with client-facing education and support. Previously, he was a private equity portfolio director at Texas Municipal Retirement Systems, a private equity analyst at Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS) and a broker at Charles Schwab.

Josh earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a member of the Kauffman Fellows (Class 29).
