Senior Equity Analyst
Kate Bergin is a senior equity analyst for CIBC Private Wealth with more than 25 years of industry experience. She joined Geneva Advisors, which became part of CIBC in 2017, in 2007 as an equity research analyst.
Prior to joining Geneva Advisors, Kate was a healthcare analyst and a member of the Northern Trust Mid-Cap Portfolio Team. She began her investment career at Scudder Investments, where she held various positions over a 12-year time frame, most recently equity research analyst.
Kate received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Chicago. She is a teacher with the Big Shoulders Fund stock market program, a tutor for the HighSight scholarship program, a mentor for the Heartland Alliance Refugee/Immigrant program, and a Trustee for the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters endowment. Kate also recently completed several in-person executive education finance courses at University of Oxford and London School of Economics.
