Mark Schmidt is a private banker for CIBC Private Wealth with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry performing commercial underwriting, relationship management, and loan restructuring. In this role, Mark works with high net worth individuals and families on a wide range of banking matters, including complex credit and cash solutions. He also leads the cross border private banking team which helps HNW Canadian clients with their US banking needs. Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as an assistant vice president at Merrill Lynch, where he held various positions within the commercial leasing and mortgage groups. Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration degree, with honors, from Loyola University of Chicago.
