Global Head of Alternative Investing
Ohm Srinivasan is the Global Head of Alternative Investing based in Boston for CIBC Global Asset Management and CIBC Private Wealth US with more than 25 years of investment management experience. In this role, he oversees investments across private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real assets and alternative solutions. These include internally-managed strategies, primary partnership allocations, secondaries and co-investments.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Ohm was vice president of investments for Battersby Capital Management, where he was co-head of hedge fund research and a portfolio manager. His responsibilities included manager research, portfolio construction, and risk management. He was also the sole portfolio manager for the multi-asset volatility hedge book across equity options and credit swaptions with notable positive performance in 2008. Ohm began his career as a senior trader at Cornerstone Trading, where he developed and managed multiple proprietary strategies, such as event-driven, volatility arbitrage, options market-making and quantitative equity market neutral.
He earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in economics from the University of Michigan and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
