Governance & Controls Lead
Sabrina leads the Governance & Controls Group at CIBC Private Wealth with over 30 years of industry experience. In this role, she acts as an advisor and strategic partner with the firm’s client-facing teams to manage and monitor the control environment within the business. Prior to her current role, Sabrina was an audit director/senior manager, focusing on wealth management and IT audit portfolios, and she has been with CIBC for over 15 years.
Prior to joining the firm, Sabrina served as a senior change manager/audit manager/compliance specialist at Bank of America/LaSalle Bank, where she served in various risk management and assurance roles. Previously, she served as a finance manager within the Business Consulting practice at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Sabrina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
