John Gaughan

Senior Private Banking Advisor

John Gaughan is a private banker for CIBC Private Wealth Management, with over 30 years of banking experience. In this role, he works with high net worth individuals and families on a wide range of banking matters, including complex credit and cash solutions, while focused on financial planning and best practices to preserve, manage, and transfer wealth for current and future generations.

Prior to joining the firm, John was a senior vice president at First Midwest focused on working with high net worth individuals on their credit, investment, and depository needs.  Prior to this role, he served as a Capital Advisor with JP Morgan’s Private Wealth Management Group providing creative and innovative credit solutions for high net worth individuals.

John received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a specialization in finance from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
