Juan E. Acevedo

Juan Acevedo is an Underwriter III for CIBC Private Wealth. In this role, he is responsible for preparing loan presentations, performing thorough financial analysis, and collaborating with all members of the team to facilitate the deal process and optimize client experience. He also performs credit risk monitoring on current loan portfolios.

Prior to joining the firm, Juan worked for a local Chicago-based community bank as a first credit risk analyst. While there, he prepared loan presentations for credit decision-making, monitored existing credit portfolios, and was actively involved in the entire loan approval process.

Juan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He is currently a member of the PAS Credit Risk Committee.
