Katie Scott

Managing Director

Katie Scott is a director of business oversight & strategy at CIBC Private Wealth, with over 15 years of industry experience. In this role, she is responsible for understanding and executing on the team’s strategic plan and acts as an advisor for internal teams to support the client experience and client goals through process improvement, front line oversight, and operations support.

In her most recent role as the governance and training manager for CIBC’s US Region Change Advisory and Governance team, she set a consistent standard for change delivery through project and people change management and implementing training standards across the region. Before joining CIBC in 2016, Katie began her career at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Iowa. She is also certified in project and people change management.

In addition to her work in banking, Katie volunteers with Tent Partnership for Refugees, an organization focused on connecting refugees to work opportunities through hiring, training, and mentorship.
