Rachel L. Merkel

Associate Vice President

Rachel Merkel is a client service manager for CIBC Private Wealth in Denver. In this role, she works closely with senior relationship managers to provide comprehensive client service and administration of accounts for high net worth individuals, families and foundations.

Prior to joining the firm, Rachel served as the Director of Volunteers and Special Events for Denver-based nonprofit Families First, where she was responsible for the planning and implementation of fundraising events, the solicitation of corporate and individual sponsorships, the recruitment of volunteers and supporting other activities of the organization.​

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Northern Colorado and volunteers for various Denver nonprofits including Girl Scouts and Operation Christmas Child in her spare time.​

Additionally, she was honored with CIBC's Team Impact Achievers Award in 2017 as well as the Team Spirit Achievers Award in 2018.
