Sanjay V. Vasan is a private banker in CIBC Private Wealth’s Chicago office, with more than 20 years of industry experience. In this role, he works with high net worth individuals and families on a wide range of banking matters, including complex credit and cash solutions, while focused on financial planning and best practices to preserve, manage, and transfer wealth for current and future generations.

Prior to joining the firm, Sanjay served as a senior private banker for CIBC Private Banking in Toronto. Previously, he was a senior director and team leader at Standard Chartered Private Bank in Dubai, UAE and a project manager at American Express’ private banking unit in Singapore. He also held senior positions at Bank Muscat Private Banking in Oman, Deutsche Bank Private Bank and ABN AMRO Private Banking, both in India. 

Sanjay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pure sciences and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Bangalore University.
