Simon Jabiru

Private Banking Associate

Simon Jabiru is a private banking associate at CIBC Private Wealth, with over five years of industry experience. In this role, he is responsible for providing administrative and sales support to one or more private banking advisors. Simon provides exceptional service to private banking clients by assisting with their transactional banking needs and responding to their queries. This could include lending, borrowing, investing or commercial lending needs.

Prior to joining the firm, Simon served as an institutional trust analyst at Comerica Bank where he managed client relationships by maintaining account profiles, developing and maintaining client specific procedures, and documenting unique account processing requirements. He also monitored account balances/activity and initiated actions such as fund and trade orders, contributions, disbursements and required reporting to ensure accounts are in full compliance with  Bank and regulatory standards.  Previously, Simon served as a municipal banking specialist at Huntington Bank formerly known as Chemical Bank. 

Simon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Oakland University.
