Timothy J. Majer

Managing Director

Tim Majer is the director of business management for CIBC Private Wealth, with more than 20 years of industry experience. In this role, Tim is responsible for managing the business operations and coordinating the strategic initiatives of the firm.​

Previously, Tim served as operations director, overseeing all aspects of investment operations, performance measurement and project management across the firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Tim was a vice president at State Street Corporation, where he held a variety of leadership positions in operations, client service and information technology.​

He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont, where he graduated with honors with a double major in economics and political science.
