Dawn M. Cardin

Managing Director

Dawn Cardin is a market manager for CIBC Private Wealth in Chicago, with more than 15 years of industry experience. In this role, she is responsible for relationship development and portfolio management for high net worth individuals and families.

Prior to joining the firm, Dawn served as a vice president of Business Banking at Capital One, where she supported loan and deposit relationships ranging from $500,000-$5 million in size. She also served on the Business Banking Sales Advisory Committee. Previously, Dawn served as a managing director of business banking at CIBC, managing director of non-analyzed treasury management at CIBC, associate vice president of corporate training and development at Wintrust, and associate vice president of retail banking at US Bank.

Dawn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from Purdue University Northwest. She is a recipient of President’s Club and Gold Club Awards at various banks.

Throughout her career, Dawn has volunteered in financial literacy programs, including Junior Achievement, Banking on Our Future, and Money Savvy. Additionally, Dawn serves as a board member of a privately held company that provides a daily service to students. She also serves as a judge and committee member for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
