Jeffrey H. Jacobs

Managing Director

Jeff Jacobs is a managing director and business development officer for CIBC Private Wealth in Chicago, with more than 30 years of industry experience. In this role, Jeff leads business development and marketing efforts, cultivating new relationships with high net worth families, family offices, foundations and endowments throughout the Midwest, helping them achieve their long-term financial objectives.​

Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he was a principal at Bessemer Trust. Before his tenure at Bessemer, Jeff was managing director at SEI Investments, vice president at Sanford Bernstein and vice president at Fidelity Investments.​

He currently serves on the board of trustees for Ravinia Festival and has been on the foundation boards for Lutheran Child Care and Family Services and The Cradle. Jeff also has served on the McDermond Center Advisory Board for Entrepreneurial Studies at DePauw University and hosted fundraising campaigns for the GRAMMY Foundation, the charitable arm of The Recording Academy.​

Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola ​University of Chicago.
