Lance Marr is a portfolio manager for CIBC Private Wealth in Denver, with over 15 years of industry experience. In this role, he provides research and analytical support for the CIBC Energy Infrastructure strategy and serves as team lead on the firm’s Clean Energy strategy.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, he served as a finance manager at Western Union and as a consultant at Reuters. His background includes stints as a financial researcher at Standard & Poor's and as a financial analyst at Union Pacific.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Black Hills State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. In 2015, he was honored with a CIBC Best Mentor/Role Model Achievers Award.
