Mark J. Cassell
Mark Cassell is a senior relationship manager for CIBC Private Wealth Management. For more than 30 years, Mark has concentrated on meeting the unique needs of the affluent investor. He is a trusted financial advisor to a select group of business owners and other successful individuals and families, providing customized and comprehensive wealth management solutions. Mark is recognized for his commitment to building and sustaining trustworthy relationships and for providing sound strategies to help clients identify and overcome critical challenges to their financial goals.
Prior to joining Geneva Advisors, which became a part of CIBC in 2017, Mark was a senior vice president and wealth manager at Morgan Stanley for four years. He also spent seven years at CIBC Private Wealth Management predecessor firms Atlantic Trust and Stein Roe, as senior vice president and senior portfolio manager.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago and the Greater North Shore Estate and Financial Planning Council. Mark has served on the board of directors for Chicago’s Emergency Fund for Needy People.
