Patricia DeChant

Pat DeChant is a relationship manager for CIBC Private Wealth, with more than 30 years of experience assisting high net worth individuals, families and institutional investors in achieving their long-term financial goals. As a trusted investment advisor, she works with a select group of successful individuals, providing them customized and comprehensive wealth management solutions.​

Prior to joining Geneva Advisors, which became part of CIBC in 2017, Pat worked in the institutional investment business, where her roles included serving as a senior vice president at Raymond James and as regional sales manager for Wachovia Securities. She has an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of investment instruments in the bond, equity and private placement markets. Pat has worked closely with both individuals and businesses to assist them in achieving greater portfolio performance.

Pat has a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Marquette University. She spent many years dedicated to helping at-risk children in Chicago, serving as both a tutor and as a board member for different after-school programs. Pat also served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago.
