Sanjay Vishwanathan

Sanjay Vishwanathan is a private banker for CIBC Private Wealth with 25 years of private banking experience in a variety of roles including business development, relationship management, product structuring, commercial credit and cross border lending. Sanjay works with high net worth families on holistic financial solutions encompassing complex credit, cash management and wealth management in collaboration with banking partners. He also leads cross border business development for the bank, which aids HNW Canadians with their US banking needs.

Prior to joining the firm, Sanjay served as a senior private banker for CIBC Private Banking in Toronto. Previously, he was a senior director and team leader at Standard Chartered Private Bank in Dubai, UAE and a project manager at American Express’ private banking unit in Singapore.

Sanjay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pure sciences from Bangalore University and a Master of Business Administration degree in business strategy from DePaul University. He holds an additional business certification in finance obtained from Bangalore University.
