Sid Nargundkar

Sid Nargundkar is the lead Portfolio Manager of CIBC Private Wealth's Durable Growth Strategy, which he founded in 2017.  He has more than 15 years of industry experience. Sid also works closely with the Disciplined Equity Team to cover technology companies.​

Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Sid spent five years in sell-side equity research, analyzing high-tech companies and trends for Wells Fargo Securities and Cowen and Company. While there, Sid wrote some of the earliest reports identifying cloud computing as an investment theme. Sid also held engineering positions at Oracle and HP and was a researcher with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab and the MIT Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems.​

He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees with concentrations in electrical engineering/computer science and management science from MIT. Sid holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
