Tanay Patel

Associate Vice President

Tanay Patel is a research associate in CIBC Private Wealth’s Boston office, with more than five years of industry experience. In this multifunctional role, Tanay supports investment traders and portfolio managers with daily trading and administration of managed accounts. He also provides the Head of Equities with analytical and administrative support, and researches economic and company-specific data used for quantitative and qualitative modeling of investments.​

Prior to joining the firm, Tanay was a hedge fund accountant for SS&C Technologies, which provides cloud-based financial technology solutions, responsible for hedge fund administration. Previously, he served as a mutual fund accountant for Brown Brothers Harriman, ensuring the accurate nightly net asset value for five mutual funds.​

Tanay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance at Babson College.
