Tanay Patel

Associate Vice President

Tanay Patel is a client service manager in CIBC Private Wealth’s Boston office with more than five years of industry experience. In this role, Tanay works closely with senior relationship managers to provide comprehensive client service and administration of accounts for high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations. Tanay particularly focuses on portfolio implementation and asset allocation trading for clients. Tanay was a former member of the central equity SMA trading team.​

Prior to joining the firm, Tanay was a hedge fund accountant for SS&C Technologies, which provides cloud-based ​financial technology solutions, responsible for hedge fund administration. ​

Tanay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in corporate finance and accounting from Bentley University and a Master ​of Business Administration degree in entrepreneurship with a concentration in finance at Babson College.​
