Tim Musial is head of fixed income for CIBC Private Wealth with more than 25 years of experience. In this role, he oversees the firm’s fixed income team, strategy, trading and policy formulation in addition to focusing on portfolio management and analysis of both taxable and tax-exempt bond investment offerings.

Prior to joining Geneva Advisors, which became part of CIBC in 2017, Tim worked at Northern Trust as part of a team managing over $30 billion in fixed income mutual funds, collective and commingled, as well as institutional and retail separate accounts. Most recently, he was a portfolio manager of several multiple-sector bond portfolios at Calamos Investments.  ​

Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and corporate communication from Rosary College and his Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Dominican University Brennan School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
