Amanda B. Regnier
Senior Vice President
Amanda Regnier is a senior wealth strategist for CIBC Private Wealth Management in New York, with 13 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with relationship managers to develop and implement charitable estate and wealth transfer management planning for clients as part of the firm’s integrated wealth management process.
As part of her role with the Wealth Strategies Group, Amanda also coordinates with clients’ attorneys, accountants, and advisors to guide them in estate planning, tax planning and philanthropic activities, and to provide knowledge, partnership and insight as they navigate life insurance programs, business succession planning and fiduciary administration work. She also conducts periodic reviews to help clients monitor progress and review new legislation, ideas and solutions. Amanda does not provide tax or legal advice.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda was an associate wealth strategist at U.S. Trust, where she guided high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients in all aspects of wealth planning. Previously, she practiced law for 10 years, beginning in complex commercial litigation—including FINRA arbitrations and broker-dealer compliance work—before shifting her focus to trusts and estates, first with a small firm and then as a solo practitioner. During this time, Amanda contributed to Thomson Reuters Practical Law to develop standard documents and practice guides for New York estate planning attorneys.
Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and Spanish from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University.
