With over 30 years of industry experience, Jack Caldwell is the Western Regional Managing Director responsible for Growth Initiatives. Since joining CIBC in 2004, he is the trusted advisor to many high-net-worth clients and families; providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management guidance and assistance in preserving and generating wealth.
In addition to his current role of business development for Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and Nevada, he is now leading a team of high-performing business professionals to strengthen existing relationships further and identify strategic growth opportunities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Jack was with Mellon Private Wealth Management, where he was responsible for client relationship management; focusing on affluent individuals, families and foundations.
Before Mellon, Jack was with Scudder Investments and was responsible for institutional investment sales and client service of ERISA plans. He worked with institutions to create investment policies and investment manager selection for Defined Contribution Plans. Prior to joining Scudder, Jack was a Financial Planner with American Express Financial Advisors.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Southern New Hampshire and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Golden Gate University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and previously served on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Estate Planning Council.
