Jason McCormack

Senior Vice President

Jason McCormack is a family office executive at CIBC Private Wealth, with over 10 years of industry experience.  In this role he is responsible for managing and delivering a suite of Family Office services to ultra-high net worth clients and supporting CIBCs Family Office offering.

Prior to joining the firm, Jason served as an economic affairs officer at the African Trade Policy Centre, a specialized unit within the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa where he worked on studying and developing trade policy across the African Continent.  Previously, he served as a senior vice president at Bank of America, where he supported some of the banks largest family office clients and specialized in complex family wealth reporting.

Jason holds a PhD in economics with specializations in international, developmental and monetary economics from Fordham University.  He also holds a Masters of Science in economics from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from St. Joseph’s University. In addition to his responsibilities at CIBC, Jason is also an adjunct professor of economics at CUNY Lehman College where he actively teaches various economics courses.
