Mary E. "Betsy" Antunes
Executive Director, Compliance
Betsy Antunes is a senior compliance officer for CIBC Private Wealth in New York, with more than 30 years of industry experience. In this role, she is primarily responsible for the oversight of all fiduciary activities within the firm to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and policies and procedures.
Prior to joining the firm, Betsy served as the chief compliance officer for both Vetia Inc., and Pine Grove Associates, establishing each firm’s compliance program. Betsy began her career with Rockefeller & Co. in various positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as in-house counsel.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in History and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University. Additionally, in 2017 Betsy received the CIBC Unsung Heroes Achiever’s Award.
