Rob Johnson is a senior vice president for CIBC Private Wealth in Austin, with over 20 years of financial industry experience. In this role, Rob services high-net-worth clients, foundations, endowments, trusted intermediaries, and family office clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Rob was head of wealth management at Realized, where he supported clients throughout the United States with building custom portfolio strategies that aligned with their personalized investment goals and unique financial plans.

Previously, Rob held leadership positions with several established firms in the financial services industry.  Rob was head of wealth management at Kestra Financial, director of investment product at Voya Financial and head of strategic partnerships at Lincoln Financial. In these roles, Rob was responsible for directing the investment platforms at several of the largest wealth management firms in the United States.

Rob received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from The University of Connecticut and holds a certificate in Family Enterprises and Wealth from Columbia Business School. Rob has been featured in various publications, including Forbes, Barrons, US News & World Report, The Street, AARP, Accounting Today, Wealth Management.com, InvestmentNews and Financial Advisor Magazine.

Rob is actively involved in his local community by supporting youth sports and the Lake Travis High School Football Booster Club, as well as several Austin-based charitable organizations. Rob is also a member of the Longhorn Foundation at The University of Texas.
