Sam A. Adams

Managing Director

Sam Adams is a senior relationship manager and investment professional for CIBC Private Wealth in Atlanta, with over 15 years of industry experience. In this role, he provides tailored wealth management solutions for individuals, families, foundations and endowments. Sam and his team work closely with clients to design thoughtful asset allocation and investment strategies that integrate their tax, estate planning, and charitable giving objectives. ​

Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, as well as in investment banking for The Breckenridge Group. Sam also worked in corporate development and strategy for publicly traded Atlanticus Holdings Corporation and as an English teacher while living in Thailand. ​

Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in commerce from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international honor society. Additionally, Sam serves as the Finance Chairman on the board of The Preschool at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and volunteers as a youth sports coach at Buckhead Baseball, Northside Youth Organization and PRUMC.
