Linda Beerman, Head of Wealth Strategies at CIBC US, honored with Lifetime Achievement award

NEW YORK, NY, FEBRUARY 20, 2025—CIBC Private Wealth, US, a relationship-focused firm offering tailored wealth management solutions, today announced it has been recognized with the Best High Net-Worth Investment Platform award by Private Asset Management (PAM) for the third consecutive year. PAM, a leading financial services industry trade publication, announced the awards on February 5 at a ceremony in New York City.

This honor marks the 13th consecutive year that PAM has recognized the firm’s investment platform, reinforcing its focus on tailored portfolio management and innovative financial strategies.

Linda Beerman, Head of Wealth Strategies at CIBC, was also recognized with PAM’s Lifetime Achievement award for defining the spirit of the wealth management sector through her professional and charitable work over the course of her 40+ year career.

Beerman joined CIBC in 2001, serving as its first head of Wealth Strategies and later as Chief Fiduciary Officer. In this role, she leads the Wealth Strategies Group and guides its firm-wide initiatives, including Women’s Circle and Financial Forum. In addition, she works with clients and their advisors to develop and implement charitable, estate, and wealth transfer and management planning as part of CIBC Private Wealth, US's integrated wealth management process. Beerman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law.

PAM, which launched its award program in 2011, annually invites firms across the US to compete for awards in several categories that are reviewed by a panel of independent industry experts. PAM considers the following criteria when selecting the winners of these awards:

• Financial progress: Candidates must be able to demonstrate performance track records over thecourse of the last 12 months.
• Growth: Client numbers, internal hires and geographic expansion
• Client satisfaction: Provide evidence of client satisfaction
